About Me
Well, who the fuck is Fino? I have been a bassist for some time now, I started playing at the age of fourteen when my father first gave me a Jazz Fass. Back then the bass was bigger than me, for that same reason I bought myself a smaller one, a Washburn model Steinberger which I still own. I have played in several bands such as: "La Cuadra Rock" (1997-1998), "Lady Jane" (1999-2002), "Latexx" (2004-present), "Tiros en el aire" (2005-2006), "DDT" (2004-2007), and "Fantasmagoria" (2006-2008). The bands with the most repercussion has been "Fantasmagoria" and "DDT".
"DDT" (which used to be known as "Demonios de Tasmania") was fronted by the legendary Sharly Gramuglia, where we played in such places as "NDateneo", "La Trastienda", "Unione e Benevolenza", "Salon Pueyrredon", ect. With "DDT" I recorded an album titled "Niños Bien" in 2007, in which Adrian Dargelos, the lead singer of Babasonicos, and Gonzalo Campos, from the band "Los Latigos", colaborated in the song "Esterlina" (For more information please visit www.ddt.com.ar).
Playing the bass for Fantasmagoria, until this point, has been the most professional collaboration within all the bands I have been part of. This band finds itself being lead by Gori, in the guitar and vocals, (used to be a member of "Funpeople") Ignacio Brizuela in the drums, and Volco en the keyboard and chorus. With this band, during the period of 2006 until 2007, we produced the album titled "Abracadabra" which was mastered by the label "Maldita Sea Records". By the end of 2007 we had won the "Clarin" award and played in many renowned places (for more information please visreit www.myspace.com/fantasmalandia). I also was able to play with "Alfonso el pintor" as a invited musician and was also able to participate in the recording of the album "70mil7" with other gatly renowned artist such as: Diosque, Lolo Fuentes (Miranda), Rudie Martinez (Adicta) and the list goes on and on. The band was originally founded by Deber and Emiliano, the singer of "Alfonso el pintor" (for more information visit http://www.myspace.com/alfonsoelpintorpop http://www.myspace.com/setentamilsiete).
Currently, I find myself playing with "Latexx", which is composed by Pablo Pensado, vocals, Herna Velazquez, guitar, Gandi, drums, and myself in the bass. At this moment we are preparing our first album which is being produced in the studio with the collaboration of Juan Stwart as the technician of recording and the ejective production by Emi Alvarenga.
