Platinum Life Productions (formerly Comatose) started in 1994 with a four-track mixer, one mic and huge dreams. Since then, Comatose has performed in many local car shows, talent shows, and local concerts. The audience response has been so phenomenal, that Comatose was asked to do an interview on a college radio station 88.5 in Boulder, Colorado in 1995. That broadcast has been recorded to be the biggest listener response the station has ever had with local talent. It also paved their way to their interview on the television show “The Next Level” on public access channel DCTV.Comatose has written and produced all 3 of their albums in which the first was titled “Albino Black Magic” and was released Cinco De mayo of 1996. 3 years later in 1999 their second album titled “Welcome to Eternity” was released again on Cinco de Mayo. Then, on May 5th of 2002 the album “Platinum Life” was released to the public and sold over 10,000 units just over the weekend of the Cinco De Mayo celebration in Downtown Denver at the Civic Center Park. Platinum Life has worked with local artists and productions such as Kut N Kru Records, Unforgotten Records and all the major local record labels. Recently, Comatose has gone into business independently, opening Platinum Life Productions recording studios, and because of their unique style and sound and their amazing ability to find great local talent, Platinum Life Productions is steadily building up a large state to state fan base and cliental for music production.Whether they work individually or collectively, their lyrics are as outstanding as the best. Platinum Life music touches each individual's emotional, mental and spiritual psyches as they write based on their own individual experiences, with the belief that real life experiences expressed in their music is something that everybody can relate to.
