About Me

Brax Cutchin is a misplaced Southerner living in Los Angeles, making music that sounds like a Johnny Cash-David Bowie collaboration. Originally from South Carolina, this March he climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa's tallest mountain, to raise money for charity: water.

Currently, Brax is recording a new record of his own brand of Americana music, which can be found on iTunes, CDbaby, Rhapsody, other online distribution sites. A new CD will be released in 2008. Brax has also begun work on his first novel and has been a Big Brother for more than 10 years.

Brax recently began writing stories about his experiences in Africa for Intent.com, a new web site started by Mallika Chopra (Deepak's daughter). Here is a link to the blog:
