Black Arm Band

Rising up from the Ashes of No AV on the TV!!

About Me

Welcome to the Black Arm Band MySpace page. Black Arm Band is the new music venture from former No AV on the TV front man Richard Melbourne and Guitarist Patrick Nally. Black Arm Band will be the creative output for the new material. Lots of the new songs being written are coming out a lot more heavier and powerful, but then some of the songs are a lot more softer and more intimate than anything we've wrote before. The music has now evolved from what what we were writing for No AV which for us was a great learning step in playing and song writing. The sound of this band is driven more towards a unique sound rather than following a a certain sound which is popular at the time aka scene. I (Richard Melbourne) wont be singing Lead Vocals in this band as i did in No AV. I would like to take a step back and just do guitars and Backing. I was an OK frontman but i want to soak up the gigs more and these song deserve a singer who can do them justice. There are currently only Mysellf (Richard Melbourne, Pat Nally and Shane Fryer who was the original Bass Player for No AV on the TV. Black Arm Band will be recording early next year and then we will go out and play some shows. Here a few titles to some new material:
