My name is Jeff Taylor aka Madjef, born in New York. With a guitar and a dream I set out to make my mark in the world of music. Today i'm a musician, engineer, and producer. I'm also having a lot of fun with video and film, I direct, AD, shoot and edit. I started my career in the early 80's working as a guitarist for hire around New York City, eventually signed to Warner Brothers/Quark Records as a member of The Regime. I was hired by Flyte Tyme producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis and promplty relocated to Minneapolis Minnesota, where i joined the Flyte Tyme staff. After more than a decade of engineering, programming, recording and mixing for this legendary crew on some of the biggest R&B and pop smashes EVER. I eventually resigned and became an independent engineer/producer. Today I work all over the world and really enjoy what i do. I have a family that loves me, I want for nothing but to have god use me and my talents in a way that pleases him. Took me a LONG time to get to this understanding, and as a result, "finally" life is not just good, its "SWEET". I shoot and edit music videos and films. Currently working on various music projects, documentaries with my partners at Herald Entertainment. Reaching out to people the world over, spreading love and encouragement thru music, movies, dvds, animations. Incredible stuff really. I now understand that God has only scratched the surface of my true potential, that I am a work in progress and that my best work is still ahead of me. These days I'm only working on projects that matter, trying to make a difference, giving back and accepting the fact that after all this hard work, all these accomplishments, i'm still, like you, only dust!. ..
