About Me

I am 98% Metal Head.
. I was born with the mark of the beast on my forehead and an axe in my arms. I am the god of all things metal! Now if only I could get my parents to give me back my car keys..... Take the
Metal Head Test
@ FualiDotComWell, If you've made it this far, chances are you already know me, but for those new to me, here goes: I am a rather huge sports fan. My favorite sport is NHL hockey, there's just nothing like it. I have been a die hard fan of the Los Angeles Kings since childhood. I loathe the Ducks, Red Wings and Rangers passionately. Football would be my second favorite sport, with the Pittsburgh Steelers being my favorite team for over 20 years as well (yes, I was a happy guy last year). I'll watch almost any true sporting event on TV, including, yes, fishing.
Music has always been an important part of my life. I'm not the least bit ashamed to say that metal is my favorite music and that Iron Maiden is my favorite band of all time. I've been a bass player since I was about 14 years old and I've played a variety of musical styles and learned a lot from all of them. Being passionate about music means I'm opinionated and if I think something sucks I will say it, not to offend anyone but just because that's my opinion. Despite this I do have a pretty open mind, but I do tend to loathe contrived mainstream music trends.
I don't drink or do any drugs. It's a decision that came from necessity for me and I wouldn't change it for the world. I quit smoking cigarettes, and May 5th will be the one year mark. I still drink a lot of coffee and I enjoy being kind of a coffee snob,
Half of my family is originally from a town outside Hot Springs, Arkansas; and the other half from Western Pennsylvania, but both sets of great grandparents came on the boat from Ireland. Hence, I am nearly full blooded Irish.
I'm into spirituality and I believe in a Spirit Of The Universe. I've experimented with religion and found it lacking. I find the best spirituality for me is found through my experience and that of others I can learn from. I can tolerate anyone's spiritual choices provided they don't attempt to force them on me.
I'm a fairly shy person until the ice gets broken, but after that I love to converse. I like coffee houses and talks over a good meal, since food is another passion of mine. I'm not using this thing as a dating service but you never know who you're gonna meet right?
I enjoy playing poker and I'm not half bad at it! I love a good BBQ and a good bonfire. I'm an Aries so I'm stubborn, charismatic and passionate. My brother is my best friend in the whole world and also an amazing drummer.
I have a great sense of humor, often twisted and perverted. Amongst my close friends I am the king of TMI.
I work in IT, currently at a large company here in San Diego. I love my job and my co-workers are good people. I design websites for friends and businesses on the side. If you need a site I'd be happy to give you a quote.
If you made it this far, congratulations. I must have made some sort of impression. There's lots more to me than I could summarize in a few paragraphs on this page. If you like what you see and what you read, shoot me a message. I can be reached on the following instant messenger services - AOL: bornwthatail (and no, I'm not a fucking worthless shithole porn spammer)and I'm on the new MySpace IM as well. I love to chat with new peeps and old friends alike so don't hesitate to send me a message!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Real people, hockey fans (especially fellow King fans and fellow goalies), bass players and other musicians, metalheads and music fans with similar tastes, anyone with something interesting to say.
Bands, here's the deal: I love to support local and otherwise unknown bands, BUT...I will NOT add you as a friend unless you send me a message first and give me a chance to check out your tunes.
People: Same rule applies. If I know you, you'll get added. If I don't know you, shoot me a message first and say hello. MySpace isn't a popularity contest for me and I'd rather have fewer good friends on here than a bunch of people I don't know or never talk to.

Without giving too much away, this was way better than I expected it to be. Yes, there is some cheese in it, and yes, some of the stuff in the movie isn't believable, but there has been stuff that fit...
