Die Idee eine Band zu gründen, entstand in der S-Bahn. Joey und Jennifer saßen da so rum und auf einmal sagte Joey "Hey, lass uns ne Band gründen. Ich hab wieder richtig Lust in einer Band zu singen". Darauf meinte Jennifer "Okay. Dann stell ich mich an die Gitarre." Tja, so hat alles angefangen.
Kurze Zeit später folgten die ersten Proben zu zweit. Man kramte in seinen alten Kompositionen, brachte sie zur Bandprobe mit und arbeitete dran. Bald sollte sich auch der erste im-Proberaum-entstande Song dazu gesellen. In 30 Min. stand das Grundgerüst. Aber was bringt uns ein Grundgerüst? Es war schnell klar, dass mehr Musikerinnen her mussten.
Eine ewige nicht-enden-wollende Suche begann. Bassistinnen und Drummerinnen hatten Interesse und sprangen schließlich immer wieder auf Grund von Zeitmangel oder Wohnort ab - ohne je unser Material gehört zu haben. Letztendlich trafen wir die richtige Entscheidung Carola auf die freie Drummerposition anzusprechen. Sie zeigte Interesse und hatte Lust auf Rock 'n' Roll mit 2 jungen Hühnern. Also wurde ein Treffen im Bandraum organisiert zu dem sich auch noch Andrea - ihrerseits Bassistin- gesellen sollte. Wir spielten unser Material vor und die beiden setzen gleich mit ein. Das Rohmaterial gefiel und so wohnten sie der Band bei. Uns schwebte allerdings schon die ganze Zeit die Idee einer zusätzlichen Gitarristin im Kopf herum, was wir im Internet publik machten und es sollte sich Jenny melden. Jenny traf sich mit uns, hörte sich unser Material an und stieg ebenfalls mit ins Boot ein. Es folgte die erste gemeinsame Probe, die gut funktionieren sollte. Und was sollen wir sagen?? Wir sind komplett und arbeiten fleißig an Songs. Sex Has A Nam.E lebt!
Update: Unsere Drummerin hat uns verlassen. =( Wir sind nun auf der Suche nach einer neuen.

The idea of founding a band was arise in a train. Joey and Jennifer were sitting there and Joey said "Hey, let's found a band. I really want to sing again in a band". Jennifer thought that this might be a good idea, wanted to play the guitar and so everything started.
After a short time the two of us had our first practises. Everybody looked for old compositions at home, brought them to the band practise and worked on them together. Soon we wrote the first song in our practise room. In 30 minutes the framework was done. But what to do with a framework? It was clear that we will need more musicians. We started our search and nothing seemed to work as it should. Bass players and drummers were interested and confirmed just to cancel it a few days later because of lack of time or their residence – without ever listened to our material. Finally we made the right decision to ask Carola for doing the drummer job. She seemed to be interested and took a delight on rocking with 2 young hens. So a meeting in the practise room was organised to which Andrea – on her part bass player - was going to join, too. We played the material we had till then and both joined us. They seemed to like the raw material and so they joined the band. But for a long time we were already thinking of a second guitar player. We searched in the internet and so Jenny wrote us. Jenny met us, listened to our material and became a part of the band, too. The first common band practise followed, which seemed to work very well.
What should we say?? We are complete and are hard-working on songs. Sex Has A Nam.E is alive!
Update: Our drummer left us. =( So we are searching for a new one.
