About Me

A lover of life’s mysteries, motivated strongly by intuition and the creative impulse to seek and experience life’s many diverse colorful ways. I love laughing, dancing and just being in the moment. I am happiest walking in the woods by a stream, experiencing the small things of life, and sharing ideas and exploring different ways of communicating. I passionately believe in truth, inner freedom, empowerment, living in the moment and being open. My interests are: Dreams/Symbolism, Alchemy, Jungian Psychology, Tai Chi and the Mysterious way of the Tao. The balance within/between, movement and stillness, image and sound, life and essence and the ways these forces interact make up the colourful journey of life for me.
Tao is without colour or form, yet from it emerges all wonders of the universe. Subtly flows the Tao, deep within the fertile stillness, hushed within the profound quietude. It is indeed the Great Reality.

Time is a companion that goes with us on a journey. It reminds us to cherish each moment, because it will never come again. What we leave behind is not as important as how we have lived. Words are the voice of the mind, deeds are the tune of the body; if you practice speaking with factuality and act with consistency, then the mind will be upright and the body will be disciplined, nature and life will have a dwelling place. Furthermore, they will be in confluence with heaven above and earth below, and will be members of a family with heaven and earth. <

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Creative people who like to explore different forms of communication............... Those who can see the beauty in the smallest...
things.
..................................
Anyone who feels that life is a gift to share with others.

A soul that sees beauty may sometimes walk alone. If the Tao could be served up, everyone would serve it up to their lords. If the Tao could be offered, there is no one who would not offer it to their parents. If the Tao could be spoken of, there is no one in the world who would not speak of it to their brothers and sisters. If the Tao could be passed on, there is no one who would not pass it on to their heirs. However, it obviously cannot be so and the reason is as follows. If there is no true centre within to receive it, it cannot remain; if there is no true direction outside to guide it, it cannot be received. The true Way is sublime. It can't be expressed in language. Of what use are scriptures? But someone who sees their own nature finds the Way, even if they can't read a word. Standing beside the meditation pool, you can see into the past, touch the place where once it stood in ancient times. Come here to contemplate Love and Life, and to think on souls and intertwined destinies. The waters of the pool ripple in response to no wind that can be felt, and seem to form words and pictures. Look into the water; let its contemplations carry you away into another place, another time, another destiny.. Lead me not into temptation, I can happly find the way myself.
Without courage, wisdom bears no fruit. Practise empting your minds heart of the fearful doubting mind.. One step at a time is the true way to nurture true nature. Within the practise of silencing the clamour; you will be adding to the universe your own unique individual tune, a tune silently playing for the entire universe to hear.

Even a 1,000 mile journey starts with a single step.
Life is a journey. The journey itself is the goal. It is infinite. It is eternal.
"Form is Emptiness, and Emptiness is Form.” Nameless, the Tao is the source of heaven and earth. Named, it is the Mother of all beings.

Whenever you make distinctions, your mind is in opposition. Opposition implies duality. Even seeking enlightenment or oneness in itself creates a state of opposition between the searching mind and the "I" within. Just the very process of seeking separates the seeker from the attainment, the object of his search..

So, how can we pass beyond the bounds of duality? We must have absolute faith in the fundamental unity and really believe there is no separation...

The progress follows this sequence: scattered mind, simple mind, one mind and no mind. First we gather our scattered thoughts into a more concentrated, or simple, state of mind. From this concentrated state we can enter the mind of unity. Finally,we are swept up from the unified mind to the state of no mind. To go from one mind to no mind does not mean that anything is lost; rather, it means that you are free of the unified state. Someone who dwells in one mind would either be attached to the image of enlightenment, or else would feel identified with a certain method. It is only after you are freed from this unity and enter no mind that you return to your own nature...

A mind united with Tao is devoid of thoughts that are a constant ramble, even thoughts pondering utmost wonders and mysteries. You have now reached where all methods, images and thoughts are discarded. Thou art I; I am Thou, knowing, knower, known, all is tranquilled in full No-thingness. The Great Love and Universal Dance of Life, and Essence, twin energies rapaciously embrace themselves in Uncaused Profound Peace. Mysterious; born child of triple unified energies; Peace, Wisdom, and Compassion blessed is your untiring return to time and space silently lighting the way back home.
The most basic and powerful way to connect to another person is to listen. Just listen. Perhaps the most important thing we ever give each other is our attention. A loving silence often has far more power to heal and to connect than the most well-intentioned words.

Experience the peace within silence and compassion will flow out of you unconditionally. Wisdom will find you when silence is present, let the silence set you free to roam and play.
A HERMITS TALE…
I came alone; I sit alone, without regrets that people know me not. Only the ghost of that old tree to the south of the city happens to know, that I am an Immortal passing through. My feelings enjoy the path of no direction; my minds eye the contentment of witless purpose. Moment's felt unnoticed by future yesterdays and past tomorrows. Thus gracefully flowers the eternal light of wisdom unseen.

Once upon a time I dreamed I was a butterfly, fluttering about most happy and content as a butterfly would and unaware that it was me. Who knows now if it is I who dremt she was a butterfly or a butterfly who dreams it is me. "I call you a 'dream' - I am also a dream."
Gently gather your energy, and quiet your wandering mind. Carefully filter your desires to protect your vitality. You will radiate with an auspicious light. All of Heaven and its deities, all of Earth and its people, respect this kind of light. The power you acquire and are able to use, is released by your tranquil mind. Gifts of Joy, Gifts of Love, Gifts of laugher …

"Let my soul smile through my heart and my heart smile through my eyes, that I may scatter rich smiles in sad hearts.
"There are as many nights as days, and the one is just as long as the other in the year's course. Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and the word 'happy' would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness.
Life is the flower for which love is the honey...Love doesn't make the world go 'round; love is what makes the ride worthwhile.
Samadhi... Vanished the veils of light and shade, Lifted every vapor of sorrow, Sailed away all dawns of fleeting joy, Gone the dim sensory mirage. Love, hate, health, disease, life, death, Perished these false shadows on the screen of duality. Waves of laughter, scyllas of sarcasm, melancholic whirlpools, Melting in the vast sea of bliss. The storm of maya stilled By magic wand of intuition deep. The universe, forgotten dream, subconsciously lurks, Ready to invade my newly-wakened memory divine. I live without the cosmic shadow, But it is not, bereft of me; As the sea exists without the waves, But they breathe not without the sea. Dreams, wakings, states of deep turia sleep, Present, past, future, no more for me, But ever-present, all-flowing I, I, everywhere. Planets, stars, stardust, earth, Volcanic bursts of doomsday cataclysms, Creation's molding furnace, Glaciers of silent x-rays, burning electron floods, Thoughts of all men, past, present, to come, Every blade of grass, myself, mankind, Each particle of universal dust, Anger, greed, good, bad, salvation, lust, I swallowed, transmuted all Into a vast ocean of blood of my own one Being! Smoldering joy, oft-puffed by meditation Blinding my tearful eyes, Burst into immortal flames of bliss, Consumed my tears, my frame, my all. Thou art I, I am Thou, Knowing, Knower, Known, as One! Tranquilled, unbroken thrill, eternally living, ever-new peace! Enjoyable beyond imagination of expectancy, samadhi bliss! Not an unconscious state Or mental chloroform without wilful return, Samadhi but extends my conscious realm Beyond limits of the mortal frame To farthest boundary of eternity Where I, the Cosmic Sea, Watch the little ego floating in Me. The sparrow, each grain of sand, fall not without My sight. All space floats like an iceberg in My mental sea. Colossal Container, I, of all things made. By deeper, longer, thirsty, guru-given meditation Comes this celestial samadhi. Mobile murmurs of atoms are heard,The dark earth, mountains, vales, lo! molten liquid! Flowing seas change into vapors of nebulae! Aum blows upon vapors, opening wondrously their veils, Oceans stand revealed, shining electrons, Till, at last sound of the cosmic drum, Vanish the grosser lights into eternal rays Of all-pervading bliss. From joy I came, for joy I live, in sacred joy I melt. Ocean of mind, I drink all creation's waves. Four veils of solid, liquid, vapor, light, Lift aright. Myself, in everything, enters the Great Myself. Gone forever, fitful, flickering shadows of mortal memory. Spotless is my mental sky, below, ahead, and high above. Eternity and I, one united ray. A tiny bubble of laughter, I Am become the Sea of Mirth Itself.
The goal of alchemy is individuation the immortalization of the soul. To individuate, which is to become whole, requires the union of male and female, good and evil, spirit and soul, consciousness and matter, subject and object, self and other, and inside and out.

To become immortal is to turn the gross lead the first/starting point of alchemy the(Black/Leaden stage)of our mortality, into the subtle gold of eternity.

When this integration begins to take place, a subtle, ethereal wind may be felt flowing onto the third-eye.

This is the beginning of a different type of breathing- it is the breath of consciousness itself, the breath of ascension. Transcendental consciousness and immanent being have thus begun to come together as integrated emptiness/being.
To be the whole Self is to be the intimate union of non-being and being, of male and female, of the immense, still, empty consciousness, and the active, dynamic, ubiquitous form. One intimate union. This subtle, archetypical, androgynous blue-print filters down and infiltrates all aspects of the universe. For one to arrive at the empty core from which all existence radiates, the alchemical union of a number of opposites existing within the individual is required.
Without such unions there can be no circle, and therefore no hollow core.

Such integration takes determination, patience, courage and the willingness to transform. The outcome of this union within the individual is the
sacred androgyny, which is the divine, incarnate soul, awake as an androgynous self within the androgynous universe. The second (White/Silver stage) of the three stages of alchemy has now been reached. The healing of the body/mind spilt must now be integrated, by the final process of the alchemy art.
This integration comes about through the inner chymical wedding, which when successfully completed represents one of the final stages the(Rubedo/Red) of alchemy.

I hope you have enjoyed my little bit of Alchemy. See you later folks; well most of you Haaaha!!
Must you go? I was just poisoning the tea.
Alchemy when look at from the point of view of Jungian psychology; is the process of become whole, (the process of Individuation). Exploration into our inner-world/s is the process of integrating our spilt-off rejected/mad parts of self. It is not for the faint hearted, and has many dangers involved. The Alchemist of old may now have been replaced by the psychologist in our modern times, if they are seeking the same results, and in the same spirit, is still to me one of the questions...
But in both a guide is essential, and remember that the guide can only take you safely, as far as they have themselves safely travelled. And now the end is near And so I face the final curtain, My friends, I'll say it clear, I’ll state my case of which I'm certain. I've lived a life that's full, I've travelled each and every highway and more, much more than this, I did it my way.

Well that’s all from me folks; goodbye and do take care not to except any tea from that darn cat.
