A four piece female fronted band who play original, energetic, lyrical and infectious music. Crafty freddie first formed together in November 07 as a three piece acoustic band. Since then they have had a of couple changes in the line up. They have been performing as the four piece they are now since September 08 where they have proceeded to make there own music and play shows in great venues, they have also been aired on local and national radio stations such as Radio 1.
They all love what they do, and are so thankful to everyone who makes it out to see them play live!
Barfly Review
'It’s Sleeper, Morissette, Stefani and then altogether something else; and
when a song has a difficult birth they pull ‘Play that funky music’ and
start taking the set by the scruff gathering all their moves for the infectious
‘Decay’- crafty indeed.'
Bumper Review
'Crafty Freddie who warmed the crowd up rather splendidly with their melodic set of above average Indie, which was due in no small part to the charismatic presence of their elfin-looking front-woman Hayley Ryan. Coming over vaguely like Louise Wener but with voice that would beat Wener’s into submission and leave it crying on the floor, Ryan and her male cohorts delivered a confident and engaging set that, I hope, is an indicator of better things to come. Their own material was delivered with aplomb, and a sparkling cover of Estelle and Kanye West’s “American Boy†had everyone singing and grinning simultaneously.'
