Being crafty (duh), science, art (2-D and 3-D), learning, delicious ethnic food and sometimes cooking, traveling (wish I had some money to do that with though!), reading, being sarcastic when people least expect it, cities, planning some urbans/urban planning, farmer's markets, sustainability, granola crunching and treehugging, animals (particularly of the rodent variety), anthropology, sociology, geology (plate tectonics are my favorite!), and generally being undercover nerdy. Oh, and languages and linguistics is pretty awesome too.
I wouldn't object to meeting Al Gore or Bruce Campbell.
I'm all over the place, but Hooverphonic, Depeche Mode and Emiliana Torrini are a few favorites.
Amadeus, Equilibrium, Serenity, Mad Max, Blade Runner. Not many, I'm picky, but I do love to watch documentaries (An Inconvenient Truth) and indy films. Also, awesome movies from the 80's like *Batteries Not Included and Tron. You can't go wrong with the 80's.
Not too much of this either considering I have to angle the rabbit ears to get anything. But since you asked: The Adventures of Brisco Country Jr., Firefly, Heroes, Smallville. The news and weather is nice too. :D
I'm in love with non-fiction, from cookbooks to quantum physics. On the fiction side, I love Jacqueline Carey, Neil Gaiman, Sharon Shinn, Tad Williams, and Banana Yoshimoto.
I know it's corny, but my #1 hero is definitely my mother.
