Annemarie Van Dam is a Dutch singer songwriter who now lives and works in Birmingham, UK.
Originally inspired by the alternative rock of Sonic Youth and P.J. Harvey, she started playing guitar and joined an all girl rock band. This lead her to the world of songwriting and the discovery of her own voice.
After teaming up with guitarist Mark Kelly, she broadened her musical horizon, singing many different styles of music and returning to her piano roots.
Her songs are a reflection of her many influences.
