Mystery of Darkness

It all started with Eastern 2007. Aiko - the guitarplayer - and Kjell - the drummer - were jamming a bit as they suddenly thought: "why not starting a band ? " So " Killed Raven " was born. the second week of Eastern holidays, Em ( a niece of the bandmembers ) gave a party. At that party, we gave (Aiko and Kjell) our first show under the name of " Killed Raven ". The playlist at that time was : 1: Slis de Slang 2: Devil from Hell 3: Dragon Time 4: Monstermannen 5: What's your fucking problem Later on, when we came together again, Anke asked us if she could join the band playing keyboards. No problem....untill we found out we had no singer. Kjell proposed his sister to sing. She accepted and so Killed Raven was complete. As we told our mom's and dad's that the name of the band was "Killed Raven", they told us it wasn't a good name. So we started looking for a new name. It became a contest between the following names : 1: Black tears 2: Black death 3: Mystery of Darkness After questioning a lot of friends and after the voting itself, the new name was chosen : Mystery of Darkness. The band " Mystery of Darkness " was born, : vocals: Nikki "Angel" De Raes, guitar: Aiko "Fafifoernik" De Raes, keyboards: Anke "Dark Witch" De Raes, drums: Kjell "Mageslayer" De Raes.
