James Edge

Multi-instrumentalist, James Edge, has been playing and singing, mainly around London, for the last 2 years, dragging a loose collection of musicians with him and inviting them to assist when the venue will let them in. He has been seen associating with, for example, the likes of Vince Hardwick (bass), Avvon Chambers (drums) and Chris Wright (guitar). They are most likely in cahoots and all signs point to them holing up in a studio in Tower Hamlets at the end of June to record an album. They will be joined by the awesome, likely be-capped, figure of Andy Waterworth on double bass and will ship in a string quartet from somewhere or other. Multi-instrumentalist, James Edge, uses his musical skills (which include the ability to play several instruments) to take the listener on a bipolar tour, taking in the highs and lows of hate and love, Earth and cosmos, nadir and zenith, regret and not regret and, like warm olive oil of the soul, breaks down the listener's emotional earwax into a sort of meta-slurry that falls out in the night onto the pillow of existence.* Multi-instrumentalist, James Edge, tends to only play the guitar and sing at the moment, undermining his multi-instrumentalist credentials.
