About Me

Hey everybody~~ Well, let's see... about me... I would have to say that I'm an easy going kind of girl. I actually enjoy doing most everything. I absolutely love cooking and I work as a chef at Zebra's in South Park. I'm also a barista at Seattle's Best Cafe in Borders. Okay, so I guess that I'm a bit of a workaholic and slightly obsessive complusive at times. But all in all I'm somewhat fun to be around and I love meeting new people and making new friends. So if you ever want to chat and just get to know me better... then send a message.

My Interests

Likes: cooking, film (all aspects), hiking, camping, poetry, photography, pomegranates, kudzu, vanilla hazelnut lattes, eggnog lattes (both with an extra shot of espresso), going out to eat, watching movies, hanging out with friends, sushi (eating and making), music, NYC, subways, anything horrific, star gazing, playing with fire, cuddling, love, hotwings (maybe it's the blue cheese that I like more so than anything else), Angelina Jolie, animals, eyes, tears, blood, trivial pursuit, mountains, the ocean, the sky, fall, winter, Halloween, sunsets, flying. I love taking hot showers and just before getting out, turn the water to cold and just stand under it for a couple of minutes... it's refreshing, try it... the list just keeps on going. I can't possibly name it all.Dislikes: People who are fake, have enormous egos(there is a certain extent in which you can reach before it's just pathetic), summer, spring (well that's borderline), fighting, change, litter, cherries, hypocrites, lies, bloody marys; there's more, but I'll get back to it later

I'd like to meet:

Angelina Jolie. And just some real down to earth people. That's it, plain and simple.

Music:

Fiona Apple, Tori Amos, Norah Jones, KD Lang, Sarah McLachlan, Melissa Ferrick, Rachael Yamagata, Dar Williams, Ani Difranco, Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, Rilo Kiley, Jem, Everclear, Evanessence, Fuel, Korn, Disturbed, Perfect Circle, Godsmack, Linkin Park, Bjork, Dido, No Doubt, Save Ferris, Prince, Elton John, Billy Joel, Don Mclean, Queen, Twisted Sister, Bad English, Firehouse, Extreme, Meatloaf, Joan Jett, Hole, the Indigo Girls, Duran Duran, and Madonna. Along with all of that I love piano music, classical, jazz, celtic, etc. I could listen to a tape of thunderstorms all night. I love sleeping to that. I also like some country music. Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, She Daisy, Martina McBride, Garth Brooks, etc. Rap is probably my least favorite, but either way I like Cypress Hill, Tupac, Eminem, etc. My tastes are pretty flexible; I seem to love it all.

Movies:

Well lets see...first, just give me anything scary. That's my favorite, but I still like others too. Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Bone Collector, Sleepers, Foxfire, Gia, Hackers, Boys Don't Cry, Monster, The Sweetest Thing, Labrynth, Blow, American History X, Dragonfly, Resident Evil, Midnight In the Garden of Good & Evil, American Beauty, Moulin Rouge, Requiem For a Dream, Mulholland Dr., Trainspotting, Finding Nemo, The Vagina Monologues, Exit Wounds, House of Cards, Higher Learning, Lost and Delirious, Kissing Jessica Stein, But I'm A Cheerleader, Kiss the Girls, Along Came a Spider, Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal, Red Dragon, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, It, Gone in 60 Seconds, What's Cooking, Empire Records, Beverly Hillbillies, Stir of Echoes, Girl Interupted, Sixth Sense, Butterfly Effect, Original Sin, Taking Lives, What Lies Beneath, 28 Days, Practical Magic, Forces of Nature, Bed of Roses, Untamed Heart, Heart and Souls, Cruel Intentions, Miss Congeniality, Rose Red, Showgirls, Pink Flamingos, Saved, Rules of Attraction, The Gift, Seven, Copycat....the list just keeps on going.

Television:

I love watching the food network and lifetime; I must say that's what I watch most of. Other than every show or movie on those two channels, I watch The Simpsons, Family Guy, anything on the history, discovery, or animal channel. If I can catch it, I like the Ellen Degeneres Show. But my favorite is The L Word.

Books:

Well, I definitely don't read as much as I should; but either way, I'm a huge Dean Koontz and Stephan King fan. False Memory was a great book, I'm about to start reading The Face. Yin Fires is another good one. So is Party Monster. But I can't forget The Vagina Monologues. The one that I'm reading right now is The Girls by Diana Mclellan... I suggest everyone read that book...it's wonderful.

Heroes:

Angelina Jolie, my close friends, my sister, Eve Ensler.
