Bedford Esquires Review 19/12/05:- Fistfights and Brakelights opened tonight's gig but experienced a few technical problems which virtually reduced their 25 minute set to an elongated sound check! Grim City also suffered from the same and after such a sparkling start the loss of their bass guitar really halted their progress. Milton Keynes youngster Run Like Fun had no such problems and played with such a degree of high-octane enjoyment that it couldn't help but filter through to their loyal followers who revelled in the uber-camp cover of 'Y.M.C.A.'
Bedford Esquires Review 18/02/06:- Run Like Fun opened this Hairgel evening and the Milton Keynes four piece pop punk band play a set that although for me is not radical enough, they are extremely keen and do not waste their alloted time on stage and that always deserves our appreciation and credit. Their song 'China' is a definite highlight from tonight's set.

Run Like Fun are through to the Final of the Battle Of The Bands taking place at the Irish centre. Run Like Fun
Run Like Fun hail from the compton Ghetto, despite often busy periods of performing, Run Like Fun refuse to play unless they are facing the north. Amazingly all of Run like Fun share the same star sign, Aries, except for Marc, Dave and Jay who do not have the star sign Aries.
Run Like Fun consists of
Howard Cave :- Howard forgot the toaster existed and actually spent two years inventing it by mistake. In his spare time Howard likes nothing more than to place discarded shopping bags on the braches of trees and is also next in line to play Dr Who and James Bond 007 consecutively. Howard refuses to fly. "I haven't got any wings, there's no point".
Jay Clements :- By requiring would be priests to take an oath denouncing modernism, Pius X (1903-1914) rekindled hostilities between the Church and a secular Society; the anti-democratic tendencies of his approach were to have considerable influence on Vatican Policy well into the 1950's. Despite popular belief this is in no way shape or form related to Run Like Fun's Jay Clements. Jays parents before deciding to name there first born son JAY also considered AJY AYJ YAJ and YJA.
Marc Laskey: - Marc hails from Manchester, other Manchester exports include Oasis, Take That, Crime and Poverty and arrogance. Run Like Fun guitarist Marc says he likes playing Guitar,"I like playing guitar" says the Run Like Fun guitarist. When Not performing with Run Like Fun Marc is led into a dark room and sedated. Marc was the actual fifth Beatle until he told Paul McCartney to "Shove 'Lady Madonna' up your arse",he also fell out with the Scouse globe chart topping group over musical differences as marc comments in a recent interview-"I just think "we all live in a Ultramarine blue with Green Orche Submarine" is more catchy"
David Palfreyman :- Despite the widely held belief it was in fact James Watt and not Run Like Fun's David Palfreyman who originally established horsepower as a unit of measurement. 'Palf' is so called because people just started calling him 'Palf'. The Run Like Fun Guitarist/Vocalist's hobby is to murder bats then tearfully try to revive them. Palf is currently wanted by Norwegian Judicial Police. In a refusal to be kept down and to keep his political career alive David Palfreyman still claims "I did not have sexual relations with that woman" and can soon be seen guest starring in 'will & Grace'-he plays the love interest.
