GhettoPunk Records is the brainchild of the nefarious Fatty Fabulous. Founded in 2001, the idea behind GhettoPunk Records is to bridge the Punk and Hip-Hop communities. What??!! Hip-Hop and Punk??!! Both genres have a background and a style of off the wall sound and they both have a lot of social and political messages entwined in their lyrics and lifestyles. GhettoPunk Records is devoted to providing quality music without all of the capitalism that usually inhibits and limits free expression. In the past, GhettoPunk has teamed up with d.i.y. companies such as Beer City Skateboards and Records to get the word out about independent music and culture. GhettoPunk currently features such acts as Johnny Handgunn, Suicide Kings, Fatty Fabulous, Beezy, and has ween working closely with Lil' Melv's 4-Sho Entertainment from the beginning.
Aside from being label, there is also GhettoPunk Studio conveniently located in Fort Worth, Texas. GhettoPunk Studio offers the newest technology available such as 24 bit digital recording, full beat production services and such equipment including, but not limited to:
