Inbar Fridman is a jazz guitar player born in Israel. At the age of 21, after studying at “Rimon school of jazz and modern music" she moved to the USA . She lived there for 6 years completing a B.A in jazz performance at the “William Paterson University” in New Jersey where she found herself under the tutelage of Gene Bertoncini, James Williams, John Mosca and Harold Mabern. After completing her B.M. degree with honors, Inbar lived and worked in NYC, performing as a side person and band leader in different venues such as “smalls”, “55 bar”, “zinc bar” and “blue note”, along side musicians such as :Aaron Goldberg, Steve Cardenas, Donny McCaslin, Myron Walden and Matt Penman. She was also a member of the Harry Whitaker group that consisted of Joe Magnarelli, Noriko Ueda and Eric McPherson. In 2004 Inbar recorded her debut CD as a leader. The recording took place at “Fat Cat” jazz club in NYC and it features mostly original composition. The musicians who took part in it are: Will Vinson on alto , John Ellis on tenor, Yoshi Waki on bass and Chris Higginbottom on drums.In 2005 Inbar moved back to Israel. She Recently joined the Lydia Filipovic group in projects “Mediteraneo” and "Butterfly Dreams" performing in Europe along side kavalist Theodosii Spassov, pianist Cemelia Ben Nceur, bassist Olivier Gatto and drummer Billy Cobham. The group performed in August 06 in “Nisville festival” Serbia, and in December toured across Greece in Athena , Larissa and Thessalonica.live from Greece w/Lydia Filipovic group, fit. Billy Cobham
