BIOGRAPHY
Blood Edition was founded in the end of 2006 by Snorre (Guitar) and Wolf (Drums) as a side-project. They wanted to play some more brutal sound, and so they started playing Death Metal. A few months later some songs were completed and the guys decided to take the project to the next level and let it become a real band. In the beginning of 2007 Polo (Bass) joined the Band. The Band agreed for the name Blood Edition, since all the members enjoy horror and splatter movies. After intensive songwriting and constant rehearsing, the first live appearance took place on December 21st of 2007.
In February 2008 the band recorded 3 songs at the Sound Control Studio for a promo cd and a myspace release.
Blood Edition wurde Ende 2006 vom Gitarrist Snorre und Drummer Wolf als Nebenprojekt zu ihren damaligen Bands gegründet. Musikalisch sollte sich das Projekt in Richtung Death Metal bewegen. Nach einigen Monaten waren einige Songs geschrieben und es wurde entschieden dem Projekt mehr Aufmerksamkeit zu widmen und eine richtige Band zu gründen. Mit Polo wurde dann Anfang 2007 ein passender Bassist gefunden. Man einigte sich sodann auf den Namen Blood Edition, da alle Bandmitglieder eingefleischte Horrorfans sind. Nach intensivem Songwriting und ernsthaftem Proben wurde am 21.12.07 der erste Live-Auftritt absolviert.
Im Februar 2008 nimmt die Band im Sound Control Studio 3 Songs für eine Promo Cd auf und veröffentlicht diese auf ihrer myspace Seite.
