About Me

Hey, it's me. Ben Chabala. I'm 18 and I live in Milford, Michigan. Just finished my first year at Michigan State University. I went in a niavee little boy and came out with an amazing girlfriend, a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.86, lots of new friends, and a penchant for drinking a little bit of alcohol. Summers have always sucked for me and this one isn't any different.
I work 40 hours a week landscaping for a man that I hate beyond anything, my girlfriend is 250 miles away, and all my friends live at least half an hour away. I've managed to survive thus far so I'm thinking I can make it another two months until school begins. Right now I'm trying out some new facial hair looks, I've got a mustache and a chin strap. Personally, I think I look fucking sweet, though some would disagree.
My hobbies are never concrete, always fluid, except for one, comic book collecting. Other than that I've got a huge hard on for fighting videogames, ala street fighter, vs. series, or soul calibur. I try and write stories and draw comic books, I've yet to finish a story. Ideas are always milling around in this mess I'd like to call a brain. I'm 6' and 182 lbs. Currently I'm quite taken with chopping down trees with an axe. I'm also a spy, right now I'm trying to up my flexibility by forcing myself to learn to do the splits... yay for summer.
I'm hoping to make lots of money this summer so I can live comfortably this coming semester. I have bad mood control issues, if I get in a bad mood I tend to stay in it no matter what, even when I know I could be happy, something about martyring myself for no identifiable cause must appeal to my subconscious. I have a small issue with trust, and while I appear to be overly confident on most occassions I actually am slightly insecure about stupid things.
Oh yeah, and I'm a really good kid. 'Nuff said.

My Interests

Fighting Videogames, Comic Books: The Incredible Hulk, Uncanny X-men, The Darkness, Invincible, The New Avengers, She Hulk, Runaways, Hellboy, B.P.R.D., and so many more. Getting drunk, drunk dancing, anything while drunk is pretty awesome, beer pong with Matt and Kyle is awesome, my girlfriend, watching Arrested Development, hanging out with my friends, deep conversations, outdoor sports, not landscaping, ask me and find out the rest
