[ENGLISH]Rob and Sergio first met on the dancefloor of Madrids Space of sound and upon a mutial desire to produce their own hybrid of dance music, began working on the project imediatley titled “The Free Radical Formation”.Having come from different musical backgrounds (Rob Rock/Funk & Sergio Soul/Disco) their defined style was already apparent on their first track, soon doing the rounds at various afterours and chillouts across Madrid.Their second track “Amazing” was so well received in London that Salvation booked them to appear both here in Madrid for their party at Space, and in London at the famous AM at Fire, for a special Easter Bank Holiday party especially titled, AM:AZING!The Group next embarked on a series of performances in Paris, Rome and Barcelona, returning to Madrid to perform 3 times over this year..s Gay Pride festivities at Royal, outside in Plaza De Chueca and finally topping it all singing to over 15,000 people for Infinita, at the collosal Palacio de Deportes.The 29th of June saw the release of “Supernova”, their first record lable release on Sunset recordings, along with 8 remixes from Spains finest. After receiving major airplay along with being played in clubs across Spain and featuring heavily in Ibiza, “Supernova..s” popularity is continuing to grow.With the release of their next track”Reign” set for early november and judging by the new material currently being worked on, the future is looking most encouraging for these Madrilians.[ESPAÑOL]Rob y Sergio se conocieron en la madrileña sala Space of Sound de Madrid. Rob proviene del mundo Indie/Rock y Sergio de la escena Club y Disco. Inmediatamente al conocerse decidieron crear una formación llamada “The Free Radicals Formation”.Aunque ambos provienen de diferentes ámbitos musicales, definieron un estilo propio desde su primer tema que se pinchó en diferentes afters y chill outs de todo Madrid.Su segundo tema, “Amazing”, fue muy bien recibido en Londres, y la discoteca “Salvation” quiso que actuaran por primera vez en Space of Sound, con una fiesta propia y en el mismo Londres en una fiesta especialmente titulada AM:AZING, para la ocasión.Enseguida surgieron las actuaciones, en diferentes clubs en el panorama europeo (Paris, Londres, Roma y Barcelona además de Madrid, donde actuaron en Cool y en Infinita por motivo del GayPride).“Supernova”, su tercer tema, ha sido el primero en salir por un sello discográfico, junto con 8 remezclas de los dj’s y productores más importantes de España. Al poco tiempo se radiaba en las radios especializas y se podía escuchar en los Clubs más importantes de Madrid, Barcelona e Ibiza.Con el siguiente lanzamiento que se titulará “Reign” y que saldrá este noviembre y con los trabajos que están ahora realizando, The Free Radicals Formation, dará mucho que hablar….[LOVEMYFLASH]
