Abyss of Eternity ist eine Dark-Electropop-Formation, welche sich im Sommer 2006 gegründet hat. Das Erste Jahr des Bestehens wurde darauf verwandt, die musikalisch doch recht unterschiedlichen Geschmäcker der Mitglieder unter einen Hut zu bringen und sich einen eigenen Stil zu erarbeiten, so dass seit Mitte 2007 die ersten "fertigen" Tracks entstehen. Stilistisch irgendwo zwischen Old-School-Elektro und Futurepop einzuordnen, setzt "Abyss of Eternity" auf die Kombination aus kraftvollen Vocals, gepaart mit eleganten Synthiemelodien, Sprachsamples und treibenden Electrobeats.
Der Name der Band spielt auf die Bedeutungslosigkeit des einzelnen Individuums im universalen Kontext an. Das Leben eines Individuums ist nur ein kurzzeitiges Aufflackern von Licht im Abgrund der Ewigkeit. Thematisch befassen sich die Texte der Songs häufig mit den menschlichen "Abgründen".

Abyss of Eternity is a Dark-Elektropop group, which was founded in summer 2006. The first year of existence was used to juggle the quite different musical tastes of the two members and create an own style, resulting in the first finished tracks in the middle of 2007. Stylistically ranging somewhere between Old-School-Electro and Futurepop, Abyss of Eternity focuses on a combination of strong vocals, elegant synth-melodies, vocal samples and impulsive Electro beats.
The bands name alludes to the insignificance of the single individual in the universal context. An individuals life is just an momentary flicker of light in the abyss of eternity. The lyrics often deal with human abysses.
