Carl Funk is a long time performer singer/songwriter living in Seattle. Former member of the ground-breaking Seattle group The Allies, Carl co-wrote Emma Peel, Heartbroken Man and many of their other notable songs. He has also written for the Brandos out of New York, providing lyrics for Gettysburg, Nothing to Fear, and Honor Among Thieves.
As a solo artist, Carl has released two CD's, True Joy and the well-received Heart of a Siren. For the last ten years Carl has been part of the acoustic duo Funk Mason, which reunites him with old Allies and Brandos band member Larry Mason. Together they released Resurrection, and most recently In an Instant, which showcases Funk's original songwriting and the duo's signature harmonies. Funk Mason keeps up a steady schedule of performances in the Pacific Northwest.
