About Me

I don't know how to say what I'm "about". I'm just trying to figure out what I want to do and where I want to be. Recently I realized that my life needed some rearranging, so I cut some parts out and added some different ones. I'm from Athens, not the Mad Cow. Athens is the reason I am the way I am, so that's where I'm FROM. I'm an art major at UGA, but really it's just so I can hang out with the cool kids. Life gets boring if it stays the same for too long. My hair color is a perfect example of my thoughts on that. Deep down I'm still a little kid on the inside. I still love Disney movies, macaroni and cheese, glitter and stars, and for some reason I still think I can be famous one day. I live a pretty simple life, but the boyfriend and few friends that I have are all that I need.

My Interests

Activities:hiding. swinging. finding a new group of friends. reading. drawing and painting. being a nerd. going to shows. looking out of place in certain company. getting bored and dying my hair odd colors about every two weeks or so. buying MAC eyeshadow. using periods instead of commas to separate my activities and interests.
interests:music. REAL music. tattoo art. how my mind works.

Music:

Indie, punk, metal, anything from the 80s, local music that you've never heard of...

Movies:

Eternal Sunshine, Nightmare Before Christmas, Benny & Joon, Fear and Loathing, all 3 Pirates, Requiem for a Dream, Closer, zombie movies, and EVERY SINGLE ROCKY MOVIE.
I want to live like Jack & Sally and have Halloween on Christmas...I paint my fingernails blue because of the girl in Requiem for a Dream.

Television:

My Boys, Sex and the City, FRIENDS, Degrassi, countdowns, SURS, and "I love..."

Books:

The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Dizzy & Jimmy, Tangled up in Daydreams, Hot Spot, Bleachers, Running in Heels, The Devil Wears Prada, The Notebook, The Man Called Cash, The Photograph, Million Dollar Divorce, Candy, Augusta Gone, and anything by Chuck Palahniuk (the guy's a genius)...yes, I'm a nerd and I read a lot.

Heroes:

Jodi Torres. She was what everyone needs to strive to be like. Her life reflected what she believed, and it touched so many lives. I can only hope to be HALF as beautiful, kind, loving, and wonderful as she was. May her spirit live on in us all...
