I am a real person. Meaning, I don't do things for show. I'm a guy, so I don't need to look pretty; think Sean Connery in his Bond flicks... no earings, no cocked hat, no wrist bands, nothing flashy. Just classic styling with a clean look. I like being laid back. I enjoy BACKPACKING with friends and have been to some awesome places. I have been to the fire academy and now I just need to get a position as a firefighter. It's not a dream for me it's a goal, so I'm not going to rest until I'm hired. The dream is to become a smokejumper. I always try to do my best in everything that I do. If you don't then what's the point in even doing it? I get hurt at work all the time; I'm in construction. I have the scars to prove it. Let me just say that I've broken 16 bones... nuff said. I'm always a gentleman. Assholes get what's coming to them. Besides, I don't have the energy to be one. It's much easier to be a nice guy.

I'd like to meet:

I thought that when I grew up I'd meet all sorts of new people and have them hang out at my apartment, watch some TV, have a couple of drinks... the type of things I would be doing if all my close friends didn't get married and have kids. Anybody willing to just hang out and have a relaxed couple of hours.

Music:

I like music that is laid back and I can sing along with it. My favorites are more along the rock/ska/punk genres. Pepper, Sublime, 311, Staind, Foo Fighters, System of the Down, Weezer, Linkin Park, Korn, Greenday... I like very few country songs; most of these choices are based on humor. I like old school rap and anything by Common. I find the current state of rap/hip-hop disappointing. The industry is churning out rap stars like the early 90's produced boy bands. I find the 99% of the current available rap/hip-hop is utter crap. It's full of guys bragging about the girls they get and how much money they have. Not every song needs a message but if the message of every song you listen to is, "I'm rich and you're not. Look at all the booty I got" I feel sorry for you and brain cells you've lost shoveling that nonsense into your ears.

Movies:

Animal House, Matrix Trilogy (especially Reloaded), Star Wars: Episodes 1-6, Walking Tall, The Rundown, Harold and Kumar Go to Whitecastle, Hunt for Red October, Clear and Present Danger, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Princess Bride, Dude, Where's My Car ?(shut-up, it was funny), Bad Boys 2, Spiderman 1-2, X-men 1-3, Spaceballs, Spinal Tap, LOTR Trilogy, Batman Begins; 1-2, all the movies by Monty Python, Adam Sandler flicks, 5th Element, Office Space, The Usual Suspects, Sean Connery movies, 40 Year Old Virgin, American Pie 1-3, Shawn of the Dead, Troy, Payback, Love Actually, Backdraft, Ladder 49, Walking Tall, Fight Club, most things with Charlize Theron and Sandra Bullock, the list can go on and on....

Television:

Reality TV is anything but. American Idol sucks, Survivor was never entertaining and I don't care for the Apprentice. I watch Rescue Me, The Shield, CSI, Daily Show, Bullshit, Robot Chicken, Coupling, Family Guy, American Dad, Start Trek TNG, Miami Vice, Knight Rider, Mind of Mencia, South Park, DBZ, Invader Zim, Good Eats, stand up comedy...
