02/11/08: Its been a long time since we've updated anything on the profile, we are still here guys. Some of you may know Dan left for uni during September and since then we've been training our new guitarist James and writing new material. We'll be taking a prolonged hiatus until we're done preparing a fresh set of brutal techness so make sure you watch this space. I'll be preparing a new profile design over the next few months and once we have a few tracks finished we'll be recording some demo's so you can all hear what we've been doing and get nice and riled up for once we start gigging again. So, new profile design, new player and new tracks coming soon. WATCH THIS SPACE.
24/05/08: It looked like things where going to go badly last night when Dan's amp decided to stop working, but thanks to his fantastic POD and Vinnie from The Dishonoured, we got an amp sorted! As for the show...fucking awesome! Massive thanks to the Dishonoured for playing with us, thanks to platinum promotions for booking the venue, and thanks to The Spread Eagle for being a brilliant venue, everyone should play there, is sick.
08/02/08: Fucking hell.. the show at the twist tonight was fucking incredible. Unleash.. tight as fuck, truly unbelievable. We'd like to say a huge thank-you to everyone who came along at such a short notice and who gave us such a good response; we hope you enjoyed yourselves as much as we did and we'll see you at the next show which should hopefully be sometime around the end of march + keep the 20th April free in all your diaries... the dome, london, full day of proper metal!
06/02/08: NEW SONG UPLOADED!! We've been recording and mixing hard the past week and we finally have something up for you all to listen to!! SPREAD THE WORD!!
01/2/08: Recording Update - Spent around 6 and a half hours in the studio today and got all drums and distorted guitars layed down, still pretty rough but sounding well nice, we'll be tidying that up this comming week, adding clean guitars, bass and vocals then mixing but we will have a little teaser of 'Light' up tuesday evening so make sure you check back to listen to that :D:D
25/1/08: Thanks to sam who got himself out of bed at seven in the morning to go down the college and book studio two (something i was unable to do) we will be recording next friday evening.
Hopefully rob will be able to get his drum tracks layed within the 3hr 30min window we have and we may even possibly get some initial guitars layed down, ready to be overdubbed next week. If all goes well you could all be listening to tracks from our E.P within around two weeks! We're all well excited to get started, we hope you all anticipate it as much as we do.

Rising experimental metal band from Colchester, Essex. Formed in the hope of writing something different and more exciting than the usual Killswitch-clone metallers.
We would really appreciate it if you could support us and take the code for one of our banners and display it on your profile, or better yet post our player in a bulletin! Thanks guys.

"They are the sort of band that at a gig would make you want to punch everyone in sight with the sheer intensity of their music. It will be awesome to see what other songs this great band produce in the future.... We wait with bated breath."

"Ghosts of Chernobyl really know how to entertain a crowd. Musically, they are also a credit to their town, blasting out their own interesting take in the field of Mathcore, which is extremey heavy, but maintains a feeling of melody, not to mention the progressive overtones working within the many-layered musical format."
