You Gillespie and Posey Gray formed Chinstrap in 1954, five weeks after no-one attended the hoopla championship in Juanito. Comprising of only two members playing various instruments, live shows are rare because Posey Gray refuses to perform live. Posey calls this refusal 'Cuente'. Occasionally You Gillespie will perform tracks solo, so watch this space, but the general arrangement is that he does his vixing in the studio whilst Posey lurks in the corners not waving wands.New material isn't in short supply but little has been recorded for nearly three years, but that is due to change... Posey woke up one morning and found some money underneath a red bowl full of keys. This has given Chinstrap the economic tug they needed, and tracks from a fully written album will emerge over the next few weeks...
