InOktober Productions is a New York/Berlin ensemble of theater artists. Current InOktober productions tend to ruminate on one of two broad subjects: love in its extremes, and what it means to be American. Founded in February 2008 and currently expanding, the group stages master American playwrights in surprising contexts. Their work features highly innovative use of sound, music, and musical ideas applied to language, all ambitiously conceived to be performed, and sometimes improvised, live in every show. InOktober Productions is currently in the process of changing continents, and will soon become active in New York City.
IN PROGRESS: "FOG" part improvised dance, part mathematics. Based on "The Fog" by Eugene O'Neill.
ALSO COMING UP: The Model, a new play by Katalina Mustatea

A re-reading of Sam Shepard’s desperate love story set in the Mojave Desert, Fool For Love, re-titled and re-imagined as Not About Love, premiered in February 2008 at the Sophiensaele.
