OVERDRIVE [pre UKJ]

Does the song "Everything About You" by UGLY KID JOE ring a bell? You know, the guys on the beach that hate everything? Of course it does. UGLY KID JOE went on to sell millions of records worldwide, with video hits like "Everything About You," "Neighbor," "Cats in the Cradle," "Busy Bee" and "So Damn Cool." Well, before the birth of UGLY KID JOE, the band was called OVERDRIVE. These demos were recorded before KLAUS, ROGER, MARK and CORDELL [all members of UKJ] joined the band, which subsequently became UGLY KID JOE in 1991. *LA GIRLS and GHOST TOWN [DEMO 2] featured in the player are early tracks recorded by UKJ, not OVERDRIVE.
