About Me

-(`v)- -(`v)-

Cowboy Curtis is a Minneapolis based band that formed in 1999. Since then they have managed to nail down a solid line up of four diverse musicians. Jake Hanson and Neal Perbix started the group with hopes playing the big city of Minneapolis, and have exceeded their goals considerably. After a couple years Neal's brother Nate took over the role of drummer, and Ethan Sutton (bass) joined at the end of 2003.

The release of their debut record (Observations | Assumptions) has landed them a spot on "All Songs Considered" on NPR and a number 22 spot on Seattle's KEXP charts. With some major regional touring and a trip out west, Cowboy Curtis is ready for the road with the anticipation of their sophomore release.

Cowboy Curtis is currently finishing up their second record at Integral Studios in St. Paul. Producers Matt Foust and Ev are best known for their work with Halloween Alaska, 12Rods, and Love Cars. Please stay tuned to www.cowboycurtis.com for details on the new record and shows near you. Please fee free to listen to Cowboy Curtis on our streaming audio player.

P.S.- Cowboy Curtis has in fact opened for Everclear.....yeah.....Everclear.
