I am here for Friends

About Me

I am Pagan. I am part of the whole of Nature. The Rocks, the Animals, the Plants, the Elements and the Stars are my relatives. I name myself Witch. I am named Witch, and Witch I am. I am a native New Englander, but I have also lived in San Francisco and Santa Rosa, CA. The two loves of my life are my boyfriend Clayton-the love of my life, the life of my heart, the heart of my existence, (and the coolest, sexiest man alive), and Maggie, my beloved friend, teacher and companion.

Confesssions of a would-be flower child: my obsession with the 60's.....

Well, it's not really an obsession-I don't dress like a hippie (although I admit to sometimes having the urge to), and my decor isn't hippie-chic, aside from a coffee-table book entitled "The Six...

Get a room....!!

It's not because I am against sex-hell, I'm all for it, under the right circumstances (or the right man...!) It's just that when I read a book, I tend to think of the characters as friends of mine....

"Say That The Gift Was Given", a poem by Loren Eiseley

This poem is, to me, so unbearably beautiful-it made me cry the first time I ever read it, and again the other day, 22 years later. My boyfriend, who is the most wonderful man in the world, went on...

The Sea Captain's Ring...A True Love Story

Why my mother tells people I'm friends with a famous author...

About six years ago, I wrote to  Dean Koontz to tell him how one of his novels had inspired me to do something for my then-boyfriend Leo, who was dying of cancer. In his book "From the Corner of His...

Do I have to go into the broom closet to succeed at work (because I absolutely REFUSE!!)..??

Lately, I've been wondering whether my seeming inability to break out of the 6-year rut I've been in at work, otherwise known as my job, has anything at all to do with the fact that I am an openly ...

Clayton's only rival for my attention.....

Clayton sometimes resents the amount of time that I spend on MySpace, and has, on occasion, been known to get downright irritated about it, especially if it's a night that Ive worked late, and he's...
