We are The Winterleaf... you and I.
James Sheahan from Wharton, Texas started this project/labor of love in Summer 2004 while in Iraq. it was his sole form of therapy. Writing and composing song after song, he began to share them with his friends and family. The reactions the songs garnered were mixed between positive and outright insult, neither of which made sharing his songs, his emotions incarnate, any easier.
Thanks Mom, Meghan, Michelle, Landon, and Dan. You were there from the beginning.

The Winterleaf is that last leaf that never gives up and holds on throughout the cold harsh winter. It longs for spring and never falls. It doesn't even know it's already dead. It doesn't care. It will never give up.
