TESTIMONIALS:
"The music industry is littered with a lot of talented and creative people who have been used, their dreams abused, and outright ripped off. If they had read this book first, the story would be much different. Steve takes his years of being in the thick of the industry and gives you an insider's view on the best way to approach your musical aspirations. It's not sugarcoated or always sexy. It's just solid business sense, in layman's terms, that every musician and songwriter needs to know. Whether you're a music hobbyist or a songwriter/band that already has a recording or publishing deal, this book is for you. It's a one-stop resource guide for all the questions you have, and a ton more you haven't even thought of yet. The Truth About the Music Industry is the only book you need to help navigate the perilous - and remarkable - waters of the music industry. " June 10, 2008 by Steve Roth (The Hangman's Daughter)
“Steve wrote the best book about the music business to date. I have read thousands of pages of gimmicky, hokey, pie-in-the-sky paperbacks. But it wasn't until i read Steve's book that i really started to pull all the pieces together for myself. Steve is a brutally honest person, so i don't suggest you deal with him if you can't handle "The Truth about the Music Business"!” January 24, 2008, By Marcus Sawyer
“If you want to know the Good, Bad, & Ugly about the music industry--minus jive expectations and rote hype--then Steve Moore is the guy you want to talk to...if you "can handle the Truth."” January 24, 2008 by Dege Legg
The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs.

There's also a negative side.
Read this book!
This book is a compilation of real street level music knowledge and a combination of years of experience as a music business entrepeneur AND an entertainment attorney.
