Building 6

About Me

Building 6 existed from 2004 to 2007. For most of its short life it was called "Department of Buildings."
The band played its first show at Magnetic Field in Brooklyn in September 2005 with Wide Right. It's last show was in January 2007 at Cake Shop.
Building 6 released one album in October 2006. It is called "Record 1." Here are some reviews:
"The guitar is twangy, the songs asymmetrical, the voice unique, and the lyrics clever. These strengths, coupled with quality production, make Record 1 by Building 6 a good alternative for music enthusiasts who are bored with indie's present offerings. Fans of electric folk should especially enjoy this album."

“I enjoy a good game of Hide the 'One' and I am still not sure where the downbeat is in that first tune! Stump the Chump--Bravo!” --Clint Conley, Mission of Burma.
“One of the most unique indie rock records to come out in a while.” --Vince Darcangelo, Boulder Weekly.
"lo-fi, hi-IQ emo at ground zero." --Punk Globe Online
