About Me

THAT’S WHAT SHE SAID
Girl on Girl Music and Comedy
That’s What She Said is a two-woman original music and comedy show which aims to make the world smile – one dyke at a time. Amy Turner, vocalist, and Kathryn Lounsbery, pianist and vocalist, write original songs which celebrate the quirks and stereotypes in lesbian culture. Their musical collaboration has churned out songs in just about every style of music: jazz, rap, folk, disco, fun, light opera, and even pornography underscore. They conquer subjects ranging from over-processed emotions to fanny packs to the ultimate creature of the earth: the beaver.
"Los Angeles performers Amy Turner and Kathryn Lounsbery are such good company, and their original songs about lesbian life are so blithely inviting..."
Richard Dodds, The Bay Area Reporter
"It didn’t take much time at all before the audience was doubled over with laughter...Not only is this a smart and slick comedy show, it also showcases the talents the two share...It’s an amazing smorgasbord of styles. So, get your stuff in your ‘Fanny Pack’ and see this mad musical bouquet. It definitely will perk up your libido."
Lee Hartgrave, BeyondChronU-Haul Music Video!
