Giovanni Capriotti was born in Rome 1972 after attending high school he moved to Amsterdam and London where he got in touch with the early club scene.Being surrounded by such a creative phenomenon allowed him to find out his artistic side both in music and visual art fields.Passion for photography has always been part of his life although at the beginnig he could not afford buying a professional camera or one deserving to be called so.On the other hand he improved his technique and his eye for composition shooting by toy cameras, polaroids and an old 6mm yashica found by his granny at the hotel where she used to work. Those early days were the ones Giovanni was building up his style through,strongly influenced by urban enviroments,street and club culture.After being back to Italy he got employed for an airline increasing his chances to travel and discover new places.Love for nature and enviroment care,raised during his adventure trips,associated with his raw urban background generating a transcultural style fully representing his always in motion attitude.He is currently residing and freelancing between London and Roma.
