As far back as he can remember, music has always been a big part of his life. Jody discovered his love for dance music at an early age and began collecting his favorite songs on vinyl. As his collection grew, so did his passion for the music. Then in July of 1996, Jody mixed his first 2 records together. At that moment he knew right away what he was destined to do.After honing his skills for a few years, he began seeking a residency in a city that was quickly becoming an emerging dance music mecca. May of 2000, Jody made his way down south to Miami. Having played at clubs such as Level, Space, and State, Jody got the attention of Danny Tenaglia who brought him to NYC where he played the infamous Be Yourself party at the late Hubert St. venue Vinyl/Arq (RIP). What a night to remember!!Not only has Jody has positioned himself in the underground dance scene as a DJ, but as well as a Producer. From the very first release on his label Distant Drum Recordings, Jody has gotten major support from Victor Calderone, Peter Rauhofer, Cevin Fisher, Palash, Steve Lawler....the list is endless. Jody has had tracks licensed to Star 69 Records, Armani Exchange, and Decibel Records to name a few. Jody has done remix work for Steve Lawler, Alan T, and Austin Leeds with upcoming projects with John Creamer, Craig Mitchell, Cevin Fisher, Jaimy, Mario Calegari....you get the picture. With various US club dates and appearances in Australia, Canada & South America, Jody is already taking it to the next level. Keep a look out for this talented DJ and Producer.
