Matthew Genereux, is a young and ambitious electric bassist from the Vancouver area, British Columbia. He is currently playing with Black City Lights and is always looking for other projects, whether it be a live or session bassist, a teacher, or joining new bands entirely. His three teachers have included: Mike Young (Devin Townsend Band, Terror Syndrome, Ten Ways From Sunday), Tim Parent (Ninja Spy), and Georgia Korba. He has knowledge of theory and techniques required to compose, reproduce, and preform any works of music. Rates are always negotiatiable, please don't be shy, these things can always be worked out.

His main gear includes: a 5 string Warwick FNA Jazzman, with an Eden Wt800 amp, Eden 4x10 cabnet, and SWR 1x18 Big Ben cabnet.
