DJ Scrill is considered to be a pioneer in the Ark-La-Tex area. After receiving his first set of turntables at age fifteen, DJ Scrill knew that he was destined to use his skills to move the masses. Coming from a family that possessed a very strong Missionary Baptist upbringing, DJ Scrill realized that music was his calling.â€Growing up in church and being in the church choir gave me the desire to hear and determine what music is pleasant to the ears. DJ Scrill has been spinning music for over fourteen years. Scrill has made a name for himself by doing local parties, hosting mixtapes, and running three mixshows.
