Njúton

Njúton is an Icelandic ensemble that plays new music. The group started in 1998 as a creative summer project, funded by Reykjavík city. In the nearly ten years of the group’s activity, more than 50 compositions have been composed and performed. A selection of these works can be heard on Njúton’s first CD, Roto con moto, released in December 2007 by Bad Taste ltd.Njúton has given numerous concerts and appeared at various music festivals in recent years in Iceland, Scandinavia and the US.
