Band Members: A brief note about the music.I have made sort of a change to things for the few that will recognize this. All the songs are orginal compositions by yours truly. I have decided to leave my recordings of other composers off of the site. In a strange sense it feels almost odd to not be in the full spirit of creation with eveyone making music on here, I have been composing for years so now I guess it is time to share. I owe thanks to Dave Baker for encouraging me to devote more attention to my own work. I have recently released a CD entitled "Piano Album" which is available through CD BAby.Chris Connolly - The three waltzes were written in 2003. They have an ethereal feel and are definitely night pieces, so perhaps they are truly nocturnes in 3/4 time.Chris Connolly - Nocturne in Emajor was written in 2008. It is a piece looking backwards into memory.Chris Connolly Movement - This is a piece I recently wrote in 2007. I still have to score it out. I enjoy the perpetual motion of the piece it reminds of water with varying undercurrents.I look forward to any feedback or exploration that others may have with the music, it is a sort of coming out of the shell process for me, so I am looking forward to this. I hope that the music will provide some nourishment for those that seek it out.
