Born in Slovakia.Musical aducation:Conservatory Bratislava;Berklee College of music Boston U.S.A.(1992-95)playing guitar since 10 till now;-)As a freelance guitarplayer in slovak music scene played with all major names,all major festivals,TV and radio shows.Music award "Instrumentalist of the year"1990 and 2001.

1987 – 1991 Conservatory in Bratislava, guitar(prof.Zsapka)
1987 – 1992 member of Adriena Barto--ová’s band Scat
1987 Bratislava Jazz Days ‘87 (with Matú-- Jakab--ic trio) and appearance at the Slovak Jazz Festival, part of the Bratislava Jazz Days with the band Scat
1990 cooperation with Alan Roy Scott (arranger, composer/USA)
1991 – 1994 cooperation with the Big Band Radio Bratislava (guitar, arranging)
1992 – 1995 scholarship for the Berklee College of Music Boston (USA)
1992 member of Bret Willmott’s student band Bret’s Frets in Boston, (touring Germany – 1994,1997,1998,2001)
1995 back to the band Scat
1996 festival Eurovision – Eurosong Contest Oslo (NO) with own competition song “Kým nás má--†(As Long As We Are With You) (J. Burian – music, orchestra conductor; Jozef Urban – lyrics, Marcel Palonder – vocals)
1997 concert appearances with Peter Cardarelli (saxophone/USA)
1998 Bratislava Jazz Days‘98 with the Burian – Tatár International Band; establishment of the Juraj Burian Band
