Rishi Sigurd VloteI was born in Hann-Münden, close to Kassel, Germany in 1959. I grew up in the beautiful countryside of the Harz mountains. I play drums since the age of 14 and picked up all kind of stiles and rhythms naturally. I am totally self educated and learned my skills mainly by watching and listening and some little hints here and there. In my early days I played in several bands in the area around Osterode / Harz and Göttingen, the nearest University city. 1988 I moved to Munich where I started playing in various bands and also build up my own recording studio. Soon I started recording and mixing locally and internationally known artists such as the funk bands Freddies Fat Back and Tico Feo as well as world music artist and multi intrumentalist "Prem Joshua", with whom I co founded the Ethno Trance project "HAMSAFAR". HAMSAFAR consited of Prem Joshua, Chintan Relenberg, Nadama Novak, Shunyam Jo Körber and me. After Jo quit the band and Nadama moved back to the USA Dinesh Mattuck and Manish Vias joined and we became an insider tip about dancable World Ethno Trance and toured all Europe for 5 years. With HAMSAFAR we recorded the album "LIFEPRINTS" which sold about 8000 copiesTRANCEFORMATION is my first solo album and consists of pieces I collected and developed from the beginning of my recording phase 1989 till 2000. The music varies quite a lot from House and Dance tracks, to the Shamanic and Worldbeat to rather Songs and lyrical and Chillout stuff. It's done as a musical journey, starting from outer space and ending in a cave in Tuscany. ..OUT NOW - "FORGET YOUR LIMITATIONS" Rishi & Harshils TranceDance JourneyCheck out our Myspaceprofile
