About Me

Sooo... let's see, in one of my previous lives, I lived in Santa Clarita, Canyon Country, whatever you want to call it. But that was almost a lifetime ago, and what can I say, I was pretty much a loser my last year in school. I even failed to gradutate, but man the partying was fine. ;) Despite all that mess, I did somehow manage to go to college, get a degree in Physics and then even continue on to graduate school in Astrophysics. Astronomy and Physics are fascinating fields, that I managed to fake my way through for a while, but fortunately for me my daughter came along at just the right moment to wake me up from the reality of the future that would have been... long hours, sleepless nights, a perpetual feeling of inadequacy. I guess you could say she gave me the rest of my life. She inspired me to better things. Live is good.

I'm a pretty happy girl most of the time. I love to be with my kids and my husband, and I love the rare moments when I can curl up with a good book or soak in a bath. And then of course there are the increasingly rare times that I get to be with the girls by the pool drinking bloody marys... ahhh sweet California summers... I'm looking forward to the kids being a bit older so that it's easier for us to travel. Look out world, here we come!

While you're here, you should take a trip to www.hthglobal.org , look over the site, and think about giving to the cause. Hope Through Health is an organization bringing comprehensive care to individuals living with HIV/AIDS in Togo, a small country in West Africa. Your donations will go far in helping the work that is to be done. Africa is getting a lot of deserved attention and much needed help right now, but we must continue working to make sure that all of Africa is remembered. Particularly the rural areas, away from cites such as the regions HTH is working in now. Africa is not a lost cause, there are pockets of hope. It is up to us to spread that hope. Thanks!
