RICHIE BLUE----Throughout his 40 year career,guitarist/singer/songwriter Richie Blue's blistering guitar playing and heart and soul vocals have taken him to his current status as one of the top drawing acts on the blues club,casino,and festival circuit throughout North America,Canada, and Mexico!Raised in the great state of Washington Richie cut his teeth playing country rock in popular northwest bands 70s bands such as Boulder Creek,The NashBand,Greesewood, and the Torepedoes before setteling in the San Francisco bay area in1981!His stint with the Fabulous Beumont Brothers featuring Amos Garrett brought attention to Richies brand of twangin blues and soon he was playing clubs and festivals from San Jose to Sacremento as well as as extensive road tours with various bay area musicians.Some of those include:NORTON BUFFALO, STEVE MILLER,ELVIN BISHOP,CHARLIE MUSSELWHITE,TAJ MAHAL,PARIS SLIM,SONNY RHODES,LITTLE MILTON,LUTHER TUCKER,NICK GRAVENITES,MARTIN FIERRO,SNOOKY FLOWERS,STEVE KIMOCK,STU BLANK,TEXAS feturing DOYLE BRAMHALL II,JIM BOGGIO and The SONOMASWAMPDOGS,TERRY HANCK and THE SOUL ROCKERS,The DICK CLARK OLDIES ROAD SHOW featuring LITTLE ANTHONY,The COASTERS,The DRIFTERS,BOBBY RYDELL,FABIAN and THE PLATTERS!Richie began touring with his own band in 1993 and has recorded 3 cds on the SannFrancisco farmboy label.
