Born Noelle Nicole Price "NoelZ" grew up in the north side of Philadelphia. Early in her childhood years NoelZ believed that she should be a star. NoelZ fell in love with entertainment at age 8, one evening while being told to go to bed she couldn’t do so because she was so glued to the Television where MC Lyte was performing on Showtime at the Apollo.”Watching Lyte perform made me want to do it too”! From then on NoelZ would mimick various entertainers in the mirror every chance she got. Pretending to be a star, NoelZ only began to really pursue writing rhymes once Hip-Hop surrounded her at Roxborough High School. Daily ciphers took place in the lunch room of which she became very fond of, but shy NoelZ never joined she only watched! Then one day in her homeroom class, NoelZ attempted to write a sixteen bar verse & succeeded! NoelZ quickly remembered the lines as she planned her debut in the cipher. When lunchtime came around & NoelZ recited the verse, the crowd’s reaction let her know that this was something that she wanted to pursue. From then on, they loved her and asked her to recite lyrics in each & every cipher. NoelZ continued to write, but as “Young Chick” her initial stage name used throughout high school. NoelZ wrote rhymes but never completed any songs, & being that a rap career wasn’t guaranteed NoelZ enrolled into West Chester University shortly after graduating High School. Throughout college NoelZ continued to write but had to put the rhymes on hold to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Public Health/ Health Promotion. But NoelZ was still driven by her passion for music & entertainment. Once NoelZ received her degree, her studies were no longer an issue and she pursued her music full-force. Writing & composing songs, NoelZ set out in search of recording studios where she could consistently create songs that the world would come to love! Upon that search NoelZ was introduced to Producer G.E.N who helped her to do so.
