Silk Jive - A World Psychedelic Rock experiment featuring electronic rock instrumentation, mild rhythmic syncopation and a major key tonality.The songs are acoustic guitar oriented with repetitive melodic phrasing and extensive vamping using electric guitars, a mandolin, a bass and a simple 4 piece drum kit with all percussions actually being recorded live. The fusion of URDU as a language brings another facet to Silk Jive's sound.A brain child of Fawad Haider - The debut album "SUNN" is being recorded at Soul Surfer Records in Huntington Beach, CA. A 5 song EP has been recorded and is expected to be mastered by the end of March, 2008.
