Ever since I was a wee lad I've loved drawing demons, zombies, ghouls, skulls, and freaks. I've always loved hot rod / low brow / kustom kulture art. My 2 biggest influences are Ed "Big Daddy" Roth and the 80's skateboard art of Jim Phillips. Here's a bunch more I love: Todd Schorr, Robert Williams, Brian Taylor (aka CandyKiller), Pushead, Mister Reusch, Derek Riggs, Rob Zombie (Yes, the rockstar guy, he's a great illustrator/artist...I know a guy who knows a dude whose cousin went to high school with him....true story.) Simon Bisley, Sebastian Kruger, Ralph Bakshi, Johnny Crap, Coop, Camilla Rose Garcia, John Dyer Baizley, Shepard Fairey and the man credited with the "Rock Poster Revival" and current toy mogul, Frank Kozik...just to name a few. My art has appeared in many books including The Art of Modern Rock, Pandameat as well as "Electric Frankenstein - High Energy Punk Rock and Roll Poster Art" and the upcoming "Fistful of Rock" rock poster book. I've spent the last 15 years designing t-shirts for everything from pro sports teams to corner vendors and everything in between, as well as concert posters and tour merchandise for independent and major label musical acts.
Random notes: I wear a baseball cap every day, because my hair stinks, I snore, I don't believe in pants, I can make Kraft Macaroni and Cheese without reading the directions on the box. My first boyhood crush was on Olivia Newton John followed closely by the girl who played Strawberry Fields in Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band with Peter Frampton and the Bee Gees. I could live solely on cheeseburgers and I have more toys now than I did when I was 10. When I'm not drawing, I'm trying to learn to play guitar or sleeping.
