About Me

About one year ago Kevin "K-Dawg" Brew got his ass a program to write and produce music. Not too long after this his first song was written, entitled "Modern Day Bond". It featured unlistenable vocals and a terribly flat techno beat, but it was indeed a song. In this day and age every genre has been homogenized and packaged to the point that there is no individuality left in the music and it all ends up being bland and watered down at best. This is where Kev wanted to step in and prove that not only can numerous styles work well together, but you can also make them fun. His reasoning for choosing Hip/ Hop was not to be "gangsta" or to achieve any sort of wide spread success, but because the genre was originally created as a political and social outlet for people who otherwise had no means to tell their peers about themselves and their struggles. "I'd like to think my music relates more to the old school hip hop that was more about lyrical content and sometimes giving people a laugh than being hard and owning a gat." One year on Modern Day Bond has been rewritten and re-recorded by Kev, who has also dubbed himself with the stage name of "The Comic Book Assassin" and is somewhat more listenable this time around. What does the future hold for "TCBA"? No one knows, unless you assholes invent a Flux Capacitor of sorts and can generate the 1.21 jiggawatz needed to cause a rip in the space time continuum! Cos if you can step up.
