i'm not crazy...

About Me

I'm an INFJ. I trip going up the stairs. I play with my hair when I'm tired, bored, or stressed. I can be borderline embarrassing, although people who hang out with me appreciate the fact that I'm excellent fuel for wry humor. I love biking to no particular destination, hiking/camping, etc. and lying in some field watching the clouds go by. I want to travel the world "Indiana Jones style" (no, I did not coin that phrase). I love culture and hate injustice. "Intention" has become my buzzword. Previous achievements include breaking my tail bone on an erg (10 points if you know what that is), raising an orphaned opossum as a certified wildlife rescuer, and *almost* summiting a Chilean volcano. Deep down I'm extremely shy and rather terrified of people. I'm pretty low-key and while I don't consider myself totally "granola," I'm sure I have a few leanings that way.

"Our problem - may I include you? - is that we don't know how to start, how to just close our eyes and let something dance between our heart and our lips. We don't know how to skip across the room only for the joy of the leap. We walk, we run, but what happened to the skip and its partner the gallop, the useless, imaginary way we could move through space, the horses we rode before we knew how to saddle up, before we had opinions about everything and just loved the wind in our faces and the horizon in our eyes."
~Stuart Kestenbaum
