About Me

Layout Created at KillerKiwi.net
I've been writing songs and playing gigs for as long as I can remember...you can check the website for the more "official" version...oh wait, nevermind, I haven't updated it in years...music music music...hmmm, what else is there? I've been in a bunch of bands over the years, with varying degrees of success and/or failure...my songwriting projects include the musical madness that was Olospo and is now known as The Slack...I sometimes make solo albums...also, I play guitar and keys in Sorta, Salim Nourallah & The Noise, Johnny Lloyd Rollins...I have a fun money making side project called The Rectal Thermometers...I used to be in a Beatles tribute band a decade ago, but we never did any of that wig-wearing look-alike shit...I'm looking for a gig as a drummer, so if you need one, call me, but not if your band sucks...I won a handful of awards recently that I didn't deserve...I wish I were a full-time writer living in a cabin in the mountains somewhere...I just started acting recently and I've got a few film projects happening...I'm 35 and aging by the second...I've got two kids. a wife, a dog, and a cat who are all really cute and I love them very much...that's about all...if you want more, go to the website...there's all kinds of useless, outdated, extended biographical material for those select few who crave such info. But it hasn't been updated in two years. I know, I suck! Thanks for listening!

Nostalgia is a helluva drug!

I wasn't sure what to expect when I got to Dada Friday night, for the Olospo reunion, our first show in our hometown in more than three years. Sure, there was that brief period when the Olospo name w...

Something old to feed my head...

Well, well. We did it. We played and we didn't suck. The Spo machine actually sounded much more "well-oiled" than I imagined it would. It was a rather surreal and yet exhilarating feeling to look ...

Shaking off the webs...

Damn...it's been a few years since Olospo played together. I guess we did a few songs together at the Granada in '06, before The Slack and Sorta and family and other things consumed my life. We play...
